Sò điệp chiên bơ – Butter & Garlic Scallops

The name “scallop” is derived from the Old French escalope, which means “shell”.

Scallops are a cosmopolitan family, found in all of the world’s oceans. Many scallops are highly prized as a food source. The brightly coloured, fan-shaped shells of some scallops, with their radiating fluted pattern, are valued by shell collectors and have been used as motifs in art and design.

Spicy Garlic butter Scallops: If you like scallops, you will love this dish. Lightly seared in sesame oil, the scallops are dressed with a scrumptious garlic butter sauce made from finely chopped chili, garlic and chives.

Great as a starter, or serve as a main course with a vegetable stir fry or rice. This should also pick up the butter sauce quite nicely! Nothing goes to waste in my kitchen!

Scallops are one of the most delicious foods, and the addition of white wine complements them quite well.

Go try this out guys, it really is so simple! Took me under 20mins to make…but over an hour to take this picture! :)
